Mid Wales is the core of this beautiful country, and only a short distance from England. With breathtaking mountain passes dominating the scenery, countryside laced with with dramatic river valleys and boasting miles of Heritage Coast and picturesque sea views it is no surprise that Mid Wales is a hugely popular choice for holiday park, lodges and caravan holidays. In addition to the allure of the great outdoors, Mid Wales is dotted with historic towns, impressive castles and fascinating attractions, meaning there is a memorable holiday here for all tastes and all ages.

Cardiganshire has much to offer on its stretch of Heritage Coast. Cardigan Bay is a hive of watersports activity, with beaches, coves and breathtaking clifftops offering relaxing explorations as well as fantastic footpaths and cycle ways. Enjoy the marine activity and dolphin-spotting excursions from New Quay, or relax on the beach at Aberporth, before venturing along scenic pathways to the renowned viewpoint at Llangrannog and the postcard-perfect seaside village of Tresaith. Inland, explore scenes such as the impressive Devil’s Bridge valley or take a scenic journey on the Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway to Aberystwyth.

Powys contains the mountainous terrain of central Wales, the National Trails of Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwr’s Way and awe-inspiring footpaths taking you on gentle or challenging routes to take in the views. The beautiful Wye Valley is also a wonderful place to get out in the fresh air, also offering fantastic family attractions such as Chespstow Castle, Caldicot Castle and Country Park and the fun Perrygrove Railway.
