Booked this Travelodge (Norwich Central) for a friend who was coming to stay and it was ridiculously cheap! Got a family room for £19, although the room they actually stayed in didnt seem like a family room. It was perfectly adequate though.

I think if you book a few weeks in advance with Travelodge there is the best chance for a bargain. This particular one in Norwich was centrally placed on St Stephens street, a short walk from the town centre and a 10 minute walk from the riverside area which houses a few good bars and clubs.

i think maybe the staff realised it was only 1 person coming to stay so they changed the family room to a double room but that was still fine for £19. The bus station is also next to the hotel so thats another plus.
