Why the Travel Blacklist and Travel Goldlist?
We found when researching reviews online at some of the more reknowed websites it was pretty hard to really find what we were looking for quickly and efficiently. With our system we not only divide the reviews into negative and positive but also provide 11 different permutations (hotel, flight etc) aswell as using a powerful relevance based keyword search to show appropriate results.
I have a review that doesnt fit into any of the categories
If you find you have something that doesnt fit appropriately into any of the categories (unlikely we feel!) please contact us with the subject of the review and we will advise
Why can I only upload 4 photos?
At the moment we are only allowing 4 .jpg images per review to be uploaded. This is to keep our bandwidth fast for the actual searches made on the review sections.
I cant upload my photos
Images MUST be in jpeg format. That means they must end with a .jpg or .jpeg extension (upper or lowercase). If you recieve a message saying your images are too big you must resize them. This is easily done in windows paint or any image editing program. As a guide, most photos should be at the most 500 pixels in width or height to be under 50kb in size as a jpeg. If they are under 50kb when you come to upload them they will be accepted. We may raise the limit in future but for now 50kb should be enough. If you are still having trouble uploading please contact us.
I cant see the rollover images on the reviews
Javascript must be enabled in your browser to see the rollover images. In internet explorer goto tools and turn on javascript there.
Why do I have to wait for reviews to be approved?
We will only publish quality and honest travel reviews and to do this we need to manually review postings. Most reviews will be approved in a few hours so you shouldnt have to wait too long to see your opinion online. The long term result is a collection of reliable opinions that can be used as a resource when researching travel online. Reviews will also need to be approved when any update is made. This should be quick though if the review has already been approved
How do i know if my review is approved
You will recieve an email to your account email address when we have approved your posting. In your myreviews section the review will also change colour and options to post to social networks will become available.
Can I edit my review?
You can edit your review at any time and that includes changing images. Reviews that have been edited are resubmitted for approval by us.
I can't see the joining email
A joining email should be sent to your chosen inbox when you complete the registration form. If you have specified a hotmail, aol or similar web based email account the joining mail may well land in your junk folder, so check that before contacting us.
