My husband and I booked a holiday with a company called yourholidays.com in 2007.
Wem booked an all inclusive holiday to Turkey, staying at the five star crystal hotel in Bodrum.
When we arrived, we were given a room with no balcony only a hole in the wall for a window which overlooked a cliff edge. We asked to be moved to another room and was told that we would have to pay another seventy five pounds to do so. We declined and went to have breakfast, the breakfast was as follows, boiled egg, small sausage pancake and bread, not very much for the five star hotel standard that we were promised. After threatening to call the police,only then did the staff take heed and moved us to another hotel for the rest of out two week stay.
I feel that we were ripped of with this holiday, as we were led to believe that this was a five star hotel we were going to be staying in, when in fact it was just a four star. We paid the price of a five star hotel. We were charged another one hundred and fifteen pounds to be moved from the crystal hotel, but we were able to get it back when we returned home after I complained to the holiday company. This was our first time in turkey, it will certainly be our last.
