I spent a wondeful week in the this peaceful 3 star hotel on Lapad Bay outside Dubrovnick. The Kompass is Adriatic Luxury Hotel with very accomodating and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were pleasant and very clean althougth the bathroom was a little snug.

The sea view rooms have beautiful view of the bay and sun terrace. The food (terrace, restaurant and bar) and entertainment were excellent throughout and the hotel is in a good location for the beach, coastal walks and a number of good restaurants as well as Dubrovnik and other bays.

The high point for me was the salt water swimming pool and the breezy sun terrace... a life saver for those in need of a restful holiday! I would not hesitate to recommend this medium sized hotel to anyone although there was not a lot there to occupy small children.
