Golf Del Sur Holiday Reviews

The two main golfing resorts on the Island of Tenerife are Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf, the former being a PGA class course and which is now marketed with Amarilla as a single entity. Residing on the south east coast of Tenerife, just 10km away from the southern airport of Tenerife it is extremely convienient for holidaymakers when they arrive. Problems with noise from overflying aircraft can occur overnight although this has lessened in recent years.

As its name suggests the hotels here cater for holidaymakers who are looking to work on their swing or relax with a golfing theme. There are no beaches in the immediate vicinity so this is very much a destination for those without kids to entertain, although it is easy to get to Costa del Silencio further to the south. The main shops are situated in CC San Blas which is opposite the Tenerife Golf Hotel. Here you will find a small selection of supermarkets and souvenir shops - all the essentials.

For those looking to challenge themselves on a world class golf course in a superb environment this has got to be one of the best places to do it. Do however bear in mind the extra cost for the courses when booking your holiday!
