This small coastal resort was built with the sole purpose of being a well-located and well-equipped centre of tourism. Its proximity to the Reina Sofia Airport (12km to the north east), its abundance of bars and restaurants and its ease of access to other popular areas such as Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Los Abrigos and El Medano, make Costa del Silencio an excellent choice for an easy-to-manage family holiday.

The area offers every level of self-catering accommodation, with sufficient pools and spas to make up for the lack of a beach. Visitors have access to the three main commercial enterprises in the area: CC Trebol, CC El Chaparral and CC Coral Mar Square, which offer everything from shops to hairdressers to bars, restaurants and children’s entertainment. Scattered throughout the resort are parks, playgrounds, smaller apartment blocks and hotels. The nearest beach is a short walk away in the charming fishing town of Las Galletas, where one can find excellent fish restaurants and a charming harbour and promenade.
