Flight Larnaca Reviews

We booked a holiday to Paphos, Cyprus between 9th-16th February and duly booked our flights via Olympic Holidays. The flight to Paphos was for ourselves and our young grandson and cost some £667; we had e-mail confirmation of the flight which was to leave at 10.55a.m. on 9th Feb. from Gatwick. Shortly afterwards we were sent a letter saying the destination Airport had been changed from Paphos to Larnaca - in excess of 90 miles from our resort in Paphos. The reason given was 'operational reasons' and that it was not considered a major change - it certainly was for us! - then when I rang Olympic to request a refund I was treated with indifference and told I could not have a refund. We arrived at Gatwick by 8.55a.m. on 9th Feb and were then informed there was a 12-hour delay on the flight! Unbelievable!! We finally left Gatwick at around 10.55p.m. and arrived at Larnaca around 5.15a.m. on 10th Feb. As we had not been offered any form of transfer etc. we hired a car and drove the 2-hours plus to Paphos, arriving exhausted through lack of sleep etc. In effect we lost two days of a one-week holiday. I have subsequently written four letters to Olympic Holidays, all of which have been ignored (I know they were received as I got a responder e-mail back) and we have received no compensation for the inconvenience or expense. We are disgusted and would never book anything with OLympic Holidays/Eurocypria Airlines again...
