The Expo is located in the business district of Barcelona but is well served by transport links to easily explore the many attractions of Barcelona. Rooms are tastefully designed and spacious with all the usual facilities associated with a hotel of this class - including air conditioning as standard. Food is served in the excellent restaurant which is located on the ground floor and the hotel also features a charming piano bar for snacks and refreshments. |

Booked with: Ryanair Hotel rating: 3 Star Board rating: Room Only Adults: 2 Children: None Age range of adults: 18 to 30 Location: In the city
When booking this hotel through Ryanair it all looked very promising, very nice looking rooms were advertised on their website so i chose to book it. Aside from the fact that the hotel was almost in the middle of nowhere with no real attractions around it, when we arrived we booked in quite easily, got to our room and were greeted with what could only be described a room with no character and it was fairly uninspiring. This was a suprise having seen the images on the website.
We went down to the front desk and approached them, and with us telling them we wanted to cancel and have our money back they promptly upgraded us to an executive room with no hassle.
The hotel staff were all very nice and we had absolutely no quarms about that at all- it was more the mis-leading advertising pictures of the rooms which were not Ryanair's fault but the hotels for providing the pictures.
