The Central Hotel in Paris was very dissapointing for us having expected a romantic holiday for two in Paris.
We stayed on the 3rd floor and were expecting a nice, clean and comfortable room to begin our exploration of the surrounding area. What we got was a dark and dingy, 70's style accommodation that had damp in the walls and rust on all the taps.
The carpets were really worn aswell as all the doors and cupboards. While we werent expecting gold taps we were expecting at least a level of respectability....after all this was meant to be a 5 Star!
The shower cubicle was filthy and we eventually checked out to find a more suitable place to stay. Avoid this hotel, or at least the dreaded 3rd floor!
