When we went to benidorm as a group in january the main beach at benidorm was pretty dirty.
While some parts had leftover beer cans and drinks containers others had smaller items of rubbish, although there was a good effort to get some of this cleared up by the hotel staff nearby their patches.
One of my friends cut themselves on a bit of glass which obviously had been broken on a night out at the bar next to the beach.
Areas at the front of the beach near the sea were excellent, id recommend sandals or footwear to get there though.
