We stayed at The Barcelo Hotel, Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura for two weeks over this February half term.
It is in an excellent location, overlooking the lovely sandy beach of Caleta, with shops, bars, restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is large and very worthy of its 4 star rating. I would recommend it to anyone and we are likely to book it up again next winter. The weather here in winter is usually very good, temperatures around 70-75 degrees and the sea is warm. This hotel has a large heated pool as well as a cold one, a gym with sauna, jacuzzi, good entertainment for adults and children during the daytime and in the evening. The food was very good and varied and the staff were very obliging, most speaking fairly good English. Rooms are of a high standard, cleaned daily and they also give you towels to use for the pool. I would say this is an ideal hotel for couples and families.
