Airport Transfer Kefalonia Reviews

We nearly missed our flight because of bad organisation of this transfer service!
When booking our Thomson holiday in Kefalonia, we opted to include airport transfer in our booking as we didn't want the responsibility of getting to and from the airport - it was a holiday after all!
On arrival, nothing could really go wrong seeing as we were pretty much funneled from the plane to the bus without so much as a breath of fresh air. However, on return, after a great holiday, we duly waited outside the hotel as we were instructed (for the bus to come along) and hit some confusion!
The package tour operators use independent taxi/transfer services at their destinations, so there wasn't a 'Thomson' transfer bus to look out for. We simply got onto the Greek transfer vehicle that arrived at the time we had been given, assuming it was the correct one. Much to our dismay, after only a couple of minutes on the bus the shaperone emerged to tell us that we had got on the First Choice bus instead! We had to get off the bus and walk back to the hotel, and it was pure luck that allowed us to catch the correct bus as it pulled in 25 mins late at the hotel! Things could have gone very wrong for our flight back!

Just make sure you check all the details of transfers carefully when doing with a tour operator!

Just thought the rep on the transfer was really friendly, and actually came round offering help and advice rather than just spouting rubbish all the way to the resort. Quite refreshing we thought!
