The Melia Jardines was by all accounts a great place to stay. It looked great in the pictures and having booked a lastminute deal to this area of Tenerife we satisfied we would have a great time.

The hotel here was pretty good in most aspects except for PRICE. Coconut Court had been recommended by a friend so we were happy to book. The food, although good, was ridiculously overpriced. We paid around £40 per head for a 2 course meal in the hotel grounds. We expected a cheaper option but were given none. I recommend checking this lovely resort out but staying in a B & B!

Went with friends to this resort and we absolutely loved it. The snow was perfect (the slopes are quite high) and the scenery of the Mattehorn and the breathtaking surroundings was just fantastic. There is a heated outdoor pool, which was something I have never experienced in a snowy environment before! Our hotel was also great, I'll post a seperate review about that - what made it was the location though.

Thoroughly romantic stay. Convenient location for discovering Prague. Room service food was amazing. We were particularly taken by the local soup. The hotel bar was relaxing and the art deco style of the building was beautiful. Couldn't ask for more

My husband and I recently returned from a fairly nice holiday in Majorca but found the Hotel Tobago lacking in some key areas. Firstly the staff at the bar seemed to be completely ignoring anyone waiting to be served until they saw fit and continued to chat amongst themselves. Secondly the overall appearance of the hotel is tatty and seems in need of repair. The resort in itself is lovely but do avoid this particular hotel.

We booked 3 rooms in this hotel for July 2007, 2 with Thomson and then added an extra room with Expedia who were much cheaper. From the moment we arrived at this hotel in Cala'n Bosch, we were so impressed. This has to be the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and came with pool towels and lots of toiletries. The rooms were cleaned daily but we were never disturbed too early in the day. We had half board, and we enjoyed the huge selection of food at the buffet restaurant. It was not a 'chips with everything' buffet, as there were so many different dishes available. If you are looking for an English menu then you would probably be disappointed. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming without exception and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool and poolside were clean and peaceful. Although the hotel claims to have childrens entertainment, we didn't see it but our children enjoyed the pool so much that it wasn't needed. This pool is suitable for singles, couples and families with babies or older children. There is a bar open quite late, and outdoor entertainment that did not go on too late. I normally avoid hotel entertainment, but this was refreshing in that the entertainment was all acts that had been brought in for one night, such as tribute bands and acrobats. The hotel is right in the centre of the resort, next to the harbour, very near the beach but was never noisy. This hotel has nice quiet areas and had a relaxed atmosphere without being tacky at all.

A great little beach. Very clean and very easily accessible by all. As with all Turkish beaches, there are no charges for sunbeds and the umbrellas, but, please eat or drink at the establishment opposite. The nightlife just a few streets away is also good for families even if it is called Bar Street.

We have stayed at the Sagamore 3 times over the past few years and on each occasion had a brilliant time. We first stayed there with our 2 teenage sons and the huge suite which divided into two rooms for privacy was absolutely perfect. Not easy when travelling as a family! We have also stayed there without the kids and having a whole suite to ourselves was bliss. The suites and whole hotel are amazingly chic and the hotel doesn't have the snobbish approach to its guests that we found in some of its neighbours. There was a fabulous little kitchen area that was great for mixing cocktails and making the odd cup of tea. The pool area is fun and glamourous. It manages to be cool for families and singles at the same time and opens directly onto the beach which is heaven.

I booked this motel primarily for it’s proximity (15 mins walk) to the UCB campus. On arrival the room had the slightest aroma that I couldn’t quite identify - not pleasant but soon forgotten. Bed: large, comfortable with clean bed linen. Bathroom: clean but with a small sticky residue (albeit avoidable) on the rim of the bath (where adhesive label removed - all the fittings seemed new as the place had been refurbished in recent months) - poor attention to detail! Lighting, heating, television, clock/cd/radio/alarm, in-room coffee machine, (free) wireless internet connection, chest of drawers, desk & chair - all good. Breakfast: fresh coffee - milk - fruit - fruit juices - doughnuts - cereal bars - breakfast cereal. Staff were friendly, , cleaning lady was thorough. Heating/ac outlet mounted on exterior wall of room next door noisy but only on one occasion. Traffic noise unnoticeable. I stayed a week & I was happy with both amenities & service. Wide range of restaurants of diverse ethnicity within a short walking distance & area is a good safe neighbourhood.
