Crieff Hydro has been operating for 140 years and is now run by descendants of its originator, Dr Thomas H. Meikle, to offer a 900 acre resort in Perthshire. Known to be Scotland’s oldest trading company, it initially opened its doors in 1868 under the name of The Strathearn Hydropathic Establishment Company, where it offered a spring water health resource for Victorians.
