We have stayed in this hotel twice now and have found it very pleasent on both occasions. It is about 600m from the beach, has a good range of activities on ofter and various types of entertainment at night. The food served was as expected and the waitresses / waiters are very helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean with modern bathroom facilities and good air con. We asked for a room facing the pool and we got which was nice. A very nice hotel at a very good price. The only one down side was the first time was stayed we were in a rooom above the kitchen which was a bit noisey.

The Radisson SAS in biarritz was a bargain for us in the low season to visit this seaside town. Booking through Alpharooms we got a double room for a few nights for less that £50! This hotel is ranked as a four star and used to be the Crowne Plaza. It is situated just behind the beachfront and has good views out to sea(although some what obscured). We were self catering so I cant comment on the food but the facilities were excellent with plush interiors, all mod cons as youd expect from a modern hotel and an excellent bathroom. Location is great with a short 3 or 4 minute walk to the town centre and the famous casino. Lots of places to eat in the vicinity but they do tend to be pricey, even in off season. As with all hotels on a budget avoid being tempted by the fridge/room bar with its selection of tipples!

This hotel is billed as a 4 star but having stayed there with our kids for one night during the summer we would probably say its more like 2 star! Rooms were a bit cramped for all of us so we upped and left after one night to stay at one of the other 4 star hotels in the region. While the Sol Magalluf Park may be good for couples we found it not suitable for our family.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the breathtaking city of Petra. It is in the perfect location, right near the entrance of Petra, ideal for an early start, which is essential when spending the day touring the ancient city. The hotel itself is amazing, very spacious, incorporating fantastic Arabian decor with a feeling of peace and tranquility. I found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and well looked after. The roof garden was lovely, something different, i really enjoyed sitting under the stars on big comfy cushions, it was very peaceful and the music added to the Arabian experience. There was an excellent variety of food so I was spoilt for choice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay at the movenpick again without a doubt.

The hotel is perfectly located near the beach in Palma Nova. Not right upon it, but set back slightly, which is sometimes a good thing. The staff are very attentive, and standards are very high. I've used this hotel twice as part of a family holiday and staying by myself, and it seems very well suited for both.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, it was spacious as were the rooms which were very well equipped and there was a great view of the mountains. There were plenty of sunbeds each day which weren't being "nabbed" early by everyone, also a plentiful supply of pool towels. The pools were clean and tidy as were the pool side bars. There was entertainment each evening which we also enjoyed it was varied plus there was shows and activities for children earlier in the evening, of which there weren't a great deal. We were there for 7 days on half board and after the fifth day the standard of food dropped a little. Bar prices were very reasonable and the staff were generally very friendly and helpful particularly the poolside bar atttendant. Overall a hotel I'd recommend to people, our friends who live on the island were impressed when they came to visit us
