Reef Oasis Sharm El Sheikh

We stayed at the 5 star Reef Oasis resort in October 2009 courtesy of lowcost. It was a huge place probably around a mile long in all and we actually didnt discover it all over a week's holiday! It is split into several accommodation sections with the 1000s being the newest and probably the best. We were initially put into a room where the aircon was leaking but as soon as we complained we got upgraded to a premium twin - much better. As we were on an all inc program everything was free including the alcohol which we indulged in quite a bit! The food was lavish in the buffet hall although there were also several good restaurants which we could have visited. The food in the buffet hall was different every night and they tried to emphasise a theme to keep things fresh aswell as having some barbecues outside. Lovely. There is a huge variety of pools to choose from, probably 5 or 6 really nice big pools of which we tried 4. Our favourite was the Rana which didnt get TOO busy while we were there. The other pools featured swim up bars and other features. We also enjoyed the columbo pool with its live dj. Most of the people there were Italien or Russian. We saw a few English people but thankfully not too many (we are English ourselves!). We both caught the 'Pharoahs Revenge' while there but this was to be expected. The pharmacy will sort you out with whatever you need should you come down with this! Overall an excellent place to visit for couples, families, divers and friends.
